Q: Is Freedom 4 just some club run by do-gooders?

A: No. Freedom 4 uses established methods to improve the lives of others. Each course is thoroughly prepared, organised and planned. Freedom 4 is a serious process that works. It’s not about the team. It’s about the Pilgrim.

Q: Does the Freedom 4 team receive training?

A: The senior team members are trained professionals. Specialist team members receive additional training from senior staff and qualified instructors. Many work in Young Offender Institutions or in Category “B” “C” & “D” prisons, including those for women. They have also been involved in prisoner follow-up programmes, mentoring and working with rehabilitation organisations. They have worked with the friends and families of serving prisoners and the education of juvenile offenders. Support staff have all attended group training sessions.

Q: Does Freedom 4 address problems such as housing, family, employment and health?

A: Freedom 4 has access to a network of professional bodies and will refer Pilgrims to the most appropriate support organisation. Freedom 4 is a gateway to all aspects of a better future.

Q: Who exactly are the team?

A: The team includes members of the justice system, ex-offenders, religious and spiritual leaders, employers, workers in a wide range of jobs, educators, media specialists and full-time writers and musicians. All are volunteers and committed Christians.
